Things have changed a lot since I last posted here. Frankly, it’s a lot to go into, but my path toward medical school changed pretty significantly. I fell off the face of the planet for a little bit, got my head right, and now I’m attending medical school with no strings, no hesitations, and with a different outlook.

For me personally, the ride has been a bumpy one, but has helped to add character and shape to who I am. Perseverance and persistence always pays off over time. For now, I’m going to keep this website up. I’ll be posting about the rigors, trials, and tribulation of medical school here, and will eventually re-launch the podcast with a much different focus than it had before. I want to talk to my fellow students and have a conversation with them about what they’re going through and how they navigated their classes. Everyone has a different point of view on how to approach medical school, and there isn’t a magic bullet available. I think it would benefit everyone to have these conversations, and I certainly know it will help me.

That being said, my heart still lies with EMS and being a paramedic. It’s my home, and its what I love. As such, you can find me and a wonderful cast of characters over at Overrunproductions.com. We blog and podcast about EMS and ES culture. It’s really good, I’m very proud of it.

So, give The Overrun a look, and thank you to everyone who kept visiting the page and downloading the podcast over the past year. I’ll be back soon. Until then you can find me on Instagram @medschoolmedic.

Talk soon,

Ed
